I'm from a Big 4 firm and currently at the "BA" level. I have done a few projects as a "junior" project lead, but haven't fully owned a project yet. Went to a good public university, graduated with top grades. Deciding between B-school or lateral into MBB, and want to make manager soon
I know McK now has some really "young" EMs (~2 years out of college). A friend of mine knows one BAEM girl from the New York office (Columbia, IB and other finance experience prior to McK), apparently got promoted only 1.5 year in.. Heard she is brilliant and dominates at everything (also her linkedin is insane, apparently studied philosophy of all things)…So this new BAEM model seems to be working
Am wondering what the chances are of making EM as an "analyst" for more "normal" folks??? Or maybe this only works for those who are top of the top?
