Consultant Interview Tutoring

Hi guys. Lately I’ve been trying to come up with ways to earn a little side money that wouldn’t involve driving Uber or donating bodily fluids. I’m currently Consultant level at a T2 firm on the west coast.

My current idea is to tutor aspiring consultants from target schools in my area (case prep, resume, interview skills, etc.). I think I’d be great at this because I came from a non traditional degree, no intern experience, and meh grades to really excelling in my field.

So the question is two parts: 1. Have any of you ever done this? How was your experience? 2. Is this allowed? Could I get in trouble with my company for doing this? Obviously I would never phrase my tutoring as a way to get into my company and explain that I am removed from the recruiting process

Thanks for your time!
