Middle Managers Deserve More Respect

Most leadership literature focuses on what the people at the top of the organization chart say and do. But it’s worth turning our ears and eyes to the people in the middle. While middle managers are rarely exalted, they are the people who get the job done, who interact with the rank and file employees, and serve as the face of the company to customers and outsiders.
